Yesterday we met as around 105th St. as usual, this afternoon you left New York.
NY is getting hotter these days, the weather makes me recall the feeling of last summer. You handed me a bottle of Heineken with a “small eyes” smile. “Hi, I’m Matt, nice to meet you.” was all you could say at that time.
Then, we spent all summer hanging out together in NY during the day, to drink in River Hall at night until the next morning; we really had a great, unforgettable summer.
Time flies, most of the time we can’t sense how fast it pasts us by, I try to make time goes slower but in vain. Today really is the last day which both of us are still in NY.
I heard the voicemail, all I want to say is thank you for being my best friend in NY, especially for a person who doesn’t have so many real good friends in the States like me.
I look at the sky from WTC, maybe you are in one of the flights go through this blue blue sky. The sky looks the same with the sky last summer, and it reminds me of the hot weather, the sunshine, and most of all, your smile.
I have never had good foreign friends, to me, you are special not only because of your nationality but you are one of the kind. You are one of my best friends indeed.
Thank you for visiting my new place, you and Jin makes Princeton meaningful to me. I will think of you guys whenever pass by.
I should not be too sad, because I should only look forward to the time to visit you in Korea.
Thank you Matt, thank you Jin, you two are part of my best memory in NY, the city which we met each other.
Bye! May God bless you. May God bless that we can meet up again.
